Before you use ZENworks 2020 or later to upgrade the OES 2023 servers to OES 23.4, you must have the following:
A ZENworks 2020 or later server installed and running in your network. For more information, see the ZENworks Server Installation.
The ZENworks 2020 or later agent installed on each OES 2023 server that you plan to upgrade.
Each OES 2023 server registered with the ZENworks 2020 or later server.
Each OES 2023 server updated with the latest OES 2023 and SUSE Linux Enterprise Server, (SLES) 15 SP4 patches: OES2023-SLE-Module-Basesystem15-SP4-Pool, OES2023-SLE-Module-Basesystem15-SP4-Updates, OES2023-SLE-Module-Basesystem15-SP4-Updates-patches, OES2023-SLE-Module-Containers15-SP4-Pool, OES2023-SLE-Module-Containers15-SP4-Updates, OES2023-SLE-Module-Containers15-SP4-Updates-patches, OES2023-SLE-Module-Desktop-Applications15-SP4-Pool, OES2023-SLE-Module-Desktop-Applications15-SP4-Updates, OES2023-SLE-Module-Desktop-Applications15-SP4-Updates-patches, OES2023-SLE-Module-Server-Applications15-SP4-Pool, OES2023-SLE-Module-Server-Applications15-SP4-Updates, OES2023-SLE-Module-Server-Applications15-SP4-Updates-patches, OES2023-SLE-Product-SLES15-SP4-Pool, OES2023-SLE-Product-SLES15-SP4-Updates, and OES2023-SLE-Product-SLES15-SP4-Updates-patches.
After the SLES15-SP4-Updates and OES2023-Updates are installed successfully, reboot the machine.
NOTE:The names of the repositories may vary depending on the service name specified when creating the external service policy.
