Before the OES 2023 servers are upgraded, make sure that no Mozilla applications are running on the OES 2023 servers that you are upgrading.
IMPORTANT:The servers that you selected in the preceding steps are now ready to be upgraded to OES23.4. The actual upgrade operations occur automatically based on the configuration.
Make sure that the OES23.4-Pool, OES23.4-Updates, OES23.4-Updates-Patches, OES23.4-SLE-Module-Basesystem15-SP4-Pool, OES23.4-SLE-Module-Basesystem15-SP4-Update, OES23.4-SLE-Module-Basesystem15-SP4-Update-patches, OES23.4-SLE-Module-Containers15-SP4-Pool, OES23.4-SLE-Module-Containers15-SP4-Updates, OES23.4-SLE-Module-Containers15-SP4-Updates-patches, OES23.4-SLE-Module-Desktop-Applications15-SP4-Pool, OES23.4-SLE-Module-Desktop-Applications15-SP4-Updates, OES23.4-SLE-Module-Desktop-Applications15-SP4-Updates-patches, OES23.4-SLE-Module-Server-Applications15-SP4-Pool, OES23.4-SLE-Module-Server-Applications15-SP4-Updates, OES23.4-SLE-Module-Server-Applications15-SP4-Updates-patches, OES23.4-SLE-Product-SLES15-SP4-Pool, OES23.4-SLE-Product-SLES15-SP4-Updates, OES23.4-SLE-Product-SLES15-SP4-Updates-patches have been applied before applying the OES2023to23.4 upgrade bundle.
Ensure that you have installed product Open_Enterprise_Server-migration-tool before applying the OES2023to23.4 upgrade bundle.
Run the zypper pd command to ensure that the Open_Enterprise_Server-migration is listed but not installed.
To check the products installed, run zypper pd -i command.
The installed products contain information about the distribution upgrades and the migration products that should be installed to perform the migration. Use the zypper se -t product | grep -h -- "-migration" | cut -d\| -f2 command.
A sample output is as follows:
Open_Enterprise_Server-migration
Run the zypper in -t product Open_Enterprise_Server-migration command.
After installing the migration tool, proceed with Assigning the OES2023to23.4upgrade Bundle to the OES 2023 Servers.
